Q&C Hotel/Bar

Located in the Central Business District of New Orleans, this century-old hotel stands as a historical landmark of the city. The hotel, built in 1913, served as a 12-story office building until it was completely transformed into a hotel, the Queen and Crescent. After Encore Hospitality LLC, a subsidiary of Texas-based Encore Enterprises Inc., purchased the hotel in 2013, the name was changed to Q&C Hotel/Bar.

In 2014, Case & Associates was hired to completely renovate the guest rooms and public areas of the hotel. This $5.5 million project required that Case & Associates maintain the structural integrity of the hotel exterior. Many materials were custom ordered in order to accommodate the renovation. As a result, all first level windows were replaced and the concrete floors were polished and sealed. The guest rooms’ existing carpet was removed, exposing the original hardwood floors, which were restored.
